Montreal, October 4, 2023<\/span> \u2013 Cycle Capital, a leading ClimateTech venture capital investment platform, is pleased to announce the addition of two new strategic advisors. Mark Little, Suncor\u2019s former President and CEO and Raj Singh, former Executive Vice President at Marvell Semiconductor,<\/span> have joined the firm to increase the investment teams\u2019 expertise in industrial scaling up and microelectronics, a key component of Cycle Capital\u2019s Fund V\u2019s investment thesis.<\/span><\/p>

Both Mark and Raj bring a strong combination of executive leadership and energy and microelectronics sector experience to the firm,” said Andr\u00e9e-Lise M\u00e9thot, Founder and Managing Partner of Cycle Capital. “Mark will support Cycle Capital in expanding its presence in Alberta, a base for Canada\u2019s leading energy companies, and Raj’s addition will help Cycle Capital reinforce its expertise in semiconductors and continue to expand its presence in the United States.”<\/span><\/p>

Mark Little<\/span><\/a>, based in Calgary, served 14 years at Suncor between 2008 and 2022 before becoming the Co-Founder and CEO at Jotson, a climatetech company that helps households manage energy consumption, costs and emissions. Mark has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, a Bachelor of Applied Petroleum Engineering Technology from SAIT, and he completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2015.<\/span><\/p>

Meanwhile, <\/span>Raj Singh<\/span><\/a>, was previously executive vice president of the processors business group at Marvell Semiconductor and\u00a0 joins the Cycle Capital team from San Francisco, California. He has over four decades of executive experience in technology, specializing in the semiconductor industry, including as CEO of Wavesat, a semiconductor manufacturing company that Cavium Networks acquired. Alongside his current role, Raj is the founder of Banchory LLC – an advisory tech consultancy firm –\u00a0 and a member of the board of directors at Kandou in Switzerland.<\/span><\/p>
